Indeed it was! My godfather knows what I like^^
And his (it's a male) fur wasn't that soft really.
Wolves have really thick and rough fur, except behind the ears!

Wow... I so want to touch his/her fur - but i don't think it'd go down well - and the eyes are amazing. Now THAT is a birthday presence :D and great photo!

It's a male^^ It was an all boys pack, and they were very friendly!
These wolves are bred in captivity and fairly accustomed to humans, so it's possible to take guided tours and meet them very up close!
Had a few of them on my lap at one time, licking my face XD

No, it's in one of the bigger zoo parks in Sweden, called Kolmården.
I don't know if there's something similar in Australia though^^
